Magazine Layouts
During my time with NiteGuide Magazine, I was responsible for creating layouts for each page. This often involved contacting companies for their logo, getting in touch with artists’ managers for the rights to their images, or hiring freelance photographers to attend certain events. After the magazine was completed, it was always so exciting for me to see the finished product and flip through every page that I designed. I’ve selected a variety of layouts as an example of the diverse amount of material that I worked on. In addition, I also wrote the editorials on both the Samuel Adams page and The Restaurant Guide. I wore many hats while at this company, and it was not unusual for me to do research for a story, write the article, and design the layout.
